ON THE CATWALK: LA Fashion Week 2020 COLLECTIONS
I never imagined going to LA Fashion week within a few days notice. My girl Betsy invited me and another friend named Betsy. I was ecstatic to see the production at the Peterson Museum in Los Angeles, CA. A lot of people who attended the days before told us, “You came on the best day.” Divine fate you say? I most certainly think so.
Without further delay, lets dive into the 3 Designers I found amazing on Day 4 of LA Fashion Week.
Luooif studio brought on an exciting take of how to approach the runway. Models Cat-walked from side to side as they glided down to the end of the runway. It was almost as if there was a battle going on. This luxury brand is from London. I must say I love their spring collection and it reminds me a lot of my fashion forecast of: Floral, Flirty, Romanticism.
Her collection is rooted on 3 important things: FREEDOM, PEACE, AND LOVE. Learning sewing from her mother, her vision finally came to life on the LAFW runway. This one surprised me the most as she changed up the color at the end of her show. It first flowed into dark black designs that were striking and individually unique. It became more set apart as ** ended the show . She approaches the runway with sheer confidence and intention. Wearing an all white semi-see through garment, she walked all the way down with a peaceful power. This power drew in many of us, as it looked almost like a beautiful bride exposed to the world for the first time. This is what transformation looks like, and nothing can stop her! Nothing can stop our desires for freedom, peace, and love. I found her life so inspiring. We were able to meet her after the show. Her love for designing with social justice in mind is empowering.
